It was getting late. CMDR Kobra was tired, he had been running security at Fisher Terminal for 12 hours straight. The dash on his Vulture was starting to blur, his eyes were hard to keep open. Constantly scanning the black, looking for would-be terrorists. He felt himself nodding off and was having a hard time keeping himself awake. His eyes close slowly, his head slumps to the side. CMDR Kobra's eyes dart open at the sound of the proximity alarm. He looks all around, but the glass of his Vulture is frozen. Lookingat the dash, he sees a ship right on top of him. Thank the stars their hardpoints aren't out. It's cold, a chill runs up his spine as he turns his engines on. Heat! At last! As the cockpit windows defrost he starts to see the outline of a very large ship. Quickly, CMDR Kobra turns on his shields and boots away. The blip on his radar changes from a square to a triangle, and CMDR Kobra turns his Vulture around and deploys his hardpoints as well. He can see it now, and Imperial Clipper. He targets the ship. "Target shields down" the voice in the cockpit says. "Imperial scum. For the Federation!" CMDR Kobra shouts. RRed pulses of light dart across the dash as he starts blasting away at the enemy ship. Catching the Clipper by surprise, CMDR Kobra is able to destroy the life support system in a brilliant flash of light. The Clipper puts all power to engines and boosts away from CMDR Kobra as fast as he can, but the EDF pilot targets the Clipper's drives and quickly takes them out as well. Floating adrift, the Clipper is a sitting duck, with a slowly draining supply of oxygen. After catching his bearings, CMDR Kobra realizes he is only 10,000km from Fisher Terminal. He calls for an emergency tow and one is quickly dispatched by EDF forces. CMDR Kobra follows the vessels into the terminal, his shift finally over, he is replaced by another EDF pilot.
